As a team deeply rooted in the spirit of adventure, we have experienced firsthand the profound benefits that come from pushing our limits, embracing uncertainty, and immersing ourselves in the beauty of the natural world. Therefore, we are delighted to share that we will be raising money for The Outward Bound Trust, through our journey to row across the Pacific Ocean.
Outward Bound uses the outdoors to teach young people the most important lesson young people can ever learn: to believe in themselves.
Our goal is to empower all young people to succeed; for themselves, their communities, and our wider society.

The Outward Bound Trust has long been at the forefront of outdoor education, empowering young people through challenging outdoor experiences that build resilience, confidence, and leadership skills. Their programs, which range from wilderness expeditions to residential courses, provide children with the opportunity to step outside their comfort zones, push their boundaries, and discover their full potential in the great outdoors.
Perhaps most importantly, adventure instills a deep sense of confidence and self-efficacy in children, empowering them to believe in themselves and their abilities. As they conquer new challenges, face their fears, and achieve their goals, children develop a strong sense of self-esteem and self-assurance that serves as a solid foundation for future success.
“We enable over 25,000 young people aged 9-18 to experience powerful outdoor adventures on our residential programmes each year, from our centres in the Lake District, the Scottish Highlands and Snowdonia. Over 85% require financial assistance, meaning they would otherwise be unable to access such an opportunity. Adventures such as rock climbing, abseiling & sleeping under the stars are used to teach tangible skills, empowering young people with the confidence to try new things, and develop teamwork, communication & leadership.”
Through our partnership with the Outward Bound Trust, we are not only raising funds but also raising awareness about the profound benefits of outdoor education and adventure for children.
